Q: What is the maximum memory I can upgrade my Dell Optiplex GX520 to ?
A: Up to 4GB (2 x 2GB Modules) with an Intel Pentium 4 Processor - but if you are running a 32-Bit Operating System it will only recognise between 3.25GB and 3.5GB of available memory.
Q: According to the Dell Optiplex GX520 specification manual, GX520s will run 533MHz (PC2-4200), 667MHz (PC2-5300) and 800MHz (PC2-6400) - what memory do you supply ?
A: We supply 667MHz (PC2-5300) and 800MHz (PC2-6400) as standard - but if you are mixing your memory with ours - please check the speed of you memory and we will match it for you. We also supply 533MHz (PC2-4200) 512MB and 1GB memory modules.
Q: My Optiplex GX520 has a Intel Celeron Processor - what is the maximum memory I can upgrade to ?
A: With a Intel Celeron Processor you can only upgrade to to a maximum of 2GB of Memory and the memory can not be faster than 533MHz (PC2-4200).
